When you find True Love

A four letter word that makes us feel funny inside LOVE. But what is love really? is it just a funny feeling we get when we are with someone? or maybe it's the crazy connection that you get with someone or something that doesn't happen when your with someone else. If that's the case I've been in love a lot lately, mostly with the chicken nuggets I had last night. According to Stacey Lloyd a dating expert " love means that you have an unwavering, unbreakable and unparalleled fondness and devotion for your partner. It's also defined by an emotional as well as physical connection with him or her that runs immeasurably deep, and life without your significant other would be practically unthinkable."

What I find the most interesting about love is big corporations know we do stupid thinks for love so they created the dumbest Holiday of the year "Valentine's day." Where we all give are money to the corporations to show are love for are significant other. To me that is so stupid why do I have to spent like $200 on the one I love for one day? Why can't I show her that I love her every other day of the year? But we can't because people make it such a big deal now that this dumb holiday could get us in the dog house if we don't do anything for it. This is just like the book M. T. Anderson wrote "Feed." In this book corporations run everything from the feed chips they have implanted into there brains to the schools where they next generation learns how to be good business people as stated on pages 109-110.

When we find the one we love we hold on to them and never let them go. Like Titus does in feed he finds his true love in Violet and does everything together as Forrest Gump says "they were like peas and carrots." Titus finds the girl he thinks he can grow old with but what he finds out to his shock that Violet is dying right in front of his eyes. He doesn't know how to act to this news he keeps picturing her dead every time he is with her, to the point where he ends things with the one he loves. Coming from someone that never lost someone he would die for, I can't say how Titus must be feeling. But from watching what my mom went through when my grandmother was dying in front of her eyes from cancer. I just know we all have are own ways of dealing with this news of a love one dying it just so happens he dealt with it by breaking up with her. But like all true love he comes back to her to tell her he will always love her and will never forget her till the day he dies.What I guess I'm trying to say here is love is something everyone will find and when you do find that special someone enjoy every moment with that person because life is short and you never know when it could be all over.
